Bio
Mrs. Kimbrough earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from Troy University, M. Ed in Educational Administration from Lamar University -- Beaumont, M.S. Ed in Instructional Leadership from Troy University, and teaches second grade at Eichold-Mertz Magnet in Mobile, Alabama. Since starting her career in education in 2013, Mrs. Kimbrough has worked as an elementary educator, teaching first grade, second grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade. She has also held roles in reading intervention, math intervention, technology education, testing, and data.
In her current role as a second grade teacher, Mrs. Kimbrough teaches an upbeat, diverse classroom of 18 students. She teaches a variety of subjects, including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Character Education. Along with teaching full-time, she serves on several committees - the school improvement committee and the school leadership team. She works diligently to grow students, grow teachers, and grow education.
